Grandma’s Classic Fry Bread Patties

“My grandma made this constantly when I was younger, but I haven’t tasted it in years!
I still love it just as much as before, and I’ll definitely be making it again!”

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add the egg and warm milk, then mix until a thick batter forms.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the oil and flatten slightly.
  5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Tip: Serve with honey, jam, or powdered sugar for extra goodness!
