Grandma’s Classic Fry Bread Patties
“My grandma made this constantly when I was younger, but I haven’t tasted it in years!
I still love it just as much as before, and I’ll definitely be making it again!”
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the egg and warm milk, then mix until a thick batter forms.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the oil and flatten slightly.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Tip: Serve with honey, jam, or powdered sugar for extra goodness!
