🍞 Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread
“My grandma used to make this recipe all the time but I haven’t had it in years!!”
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until combined.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle half over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter, then top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon through the batter.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over the warm loaf.
