Chocolate Cream Bar Dessert (No-Bake)
A rich, creamy, and dangerously addictive dessert! Smooth vanilla cream layered over a chocolate cookie crust, topped with silky chocolate ganache.
Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos, without filling)
- 6 tbsp melted butter
For the Cream Layer:
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
For the Chocolate Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Make the Crust
- Mix crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a baking dish.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
2. Make the Cream Layer
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add condensed milk, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread this cream evenly over the crust.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes.
3. Make the Chocolate Topping
- Heat heavy cream until almost boiling.
- Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Cool slightly, then pour over the cream layer.
4. Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results. Slice and enjoy!
Tips
- Add chopped chocolate or nuts to the crust for more texture.
- Double the cream layer for thicker bars.
- Freeze for an ice-cream-like texture.
