Moist Banana Cake

Moist Banana Cake 🍌

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, then vanilla.
  5. Mix in mashed bananas and sour cream (or yogurt).
  6. Add dry ingredients and mix gently.
  7. Pour into pan and bake for 55–65 minutes.
  8. Cool before slicing and serving.
