No-Bake Christmas Lasagna Trifle
Festive layered trifle with creamy peppermint filling, colorful pudding, and crunchy cookie crumbs.
Ingredients
For the cookie base:
- 2 cups crushed Golden Oreos (or vanilla sandwich cookies)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cream cheese layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip)
For the pudding layer:
- 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
- Red or green gel food coloring
For the whipped topping layer:
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip)
For garnish:
- Crushed candy canes
- Mini M&M’s
- Holiday sprinkles
- Cookie crumbs
Directions
- Combine crushed Golden Oreos and melted butter. Press half into the bottom of a trifle dish.
- Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cookie layer.
- Whisk pudding mix, milk, and peppermint extract for 2 minutes. Divide into two bowls and tint one red and one green.
- Layer the red pudding over the cream cheese layer and sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
- Layer the green pudding on top and smooth it out.
- Spread a layer of whipped topping over the pudding layers.
- Decorate with crushed candy canes, mini M&M’s, and holiday sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
