Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large sea scallops
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ΒΌ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. Pat scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Arrange scallops in a greased baking dish and drizzle with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and parsley, then sprinkle over scallops.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until scallops are opaque and topping is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with extra parsley and serve warm with lemon wedges or bread.
