Buttery Vanilla Peach Cobbler with Sweet Crust
A warm, buttery cobbler packed with juicy peaches and a golden sweet crust — simple, comforting, and perfect for any season.
Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or frozen, peeled)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour batter over the butter without stirring.
- Arrange peach slices evenly on top of the batter.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm — best with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
