Cheddar Crunch Bake 🧀✨

Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups crushed butter crackers (like Ritz)
- 2 cups cooked chicken or ham (optional for extra protein)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Fold in half of the cheddar cheese and any cooked meat (if using).
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle the crushed crackers evenly on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cracker layer for extra crunch.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving — the edges crisp up beautifully as it sets.
