🍓 Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix (approx. 15.25 oz / 430 g)
  • 1 can strawberry pie filling (21 oz / ~595 g)
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz / 225 g)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (100 g)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (115 g)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or spray.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry layer — no need to spread it perfectly.
  5. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top.
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly across the entire surface (don’t stir!).
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm or chilled, topped with whipped cream or fresh strawberries!
