Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Bites


Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Bites 🍯🍗

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast or tenders, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt and black pepper
  • 1 cup oil (for frying)

For the Honey Garlic Glaze:

  • 3 tbsp honey 🍯
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 tbsp butter 🧈
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional 🌶️)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coating: In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken: Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
  3. Fry: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken pieces until golden and crispy, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. Make the glaze: In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, and chili flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss & serve: Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss until well coated and sticky. Serve hot and enjoy!
Tip: Serve with steamed rice or fries — and double the sauce if you love it extra sticky! 😋
