Total: ~4 hours
Serves: 4–6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz / 28 g)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups (475 ml) beef broth
  • 2 cups (200 g) uncooked pasta shells
  • 1 ½ cups (150 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream or milk
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley 🌿

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions and garlic over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Combine ingredients: Transfer the beef mixture to your crockpot. Add the ranch seasoning, cream of soup, beef broth, and uncooked pasta shells. Stir to combine.
  3. Slow cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, or until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens.
  4. Finish with cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and heavy cream. Mix until creamy and melted through.
  5. Serve hot: Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper. Enjoy that rich, cheesy goodness! 😋
Tip 🧀: For extra flavor, mix cheddar and mozzarella or add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick.
