Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk
- ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Salt & pepper to taste 🧂
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté spinach until wilted. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Whisk in flour to form a roux, then gradually add cream and milk, stirring until smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Layer spinach and shrimp in the baking dish, then pour sauce evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot with rice, pasta, or bread! 🍞🦐
