Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups (200 g) egg noodles or any pasta
  • 1 ½ cups (360 ml) beef broth
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt & ½ tsp pepper 🧂
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup (50 g) shredded mozzarella (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced onion, garlic, and bell peppers; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Let it simmer for 10 minutes until thickened slightly.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella if desired and let melt before serving. 🍝🔥
Tip: For extra richness, stir in a splash of heavy cream or a spoonful of ricotta cheese at the end — it makes the sauce silky and irresistible!
