No-Fail
Peanut Butter Fudge (4 Ingredients)
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk (whole preferred)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: pinch of salt (enhances flavor)
Directions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment, leaving overhang to lift.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and milk. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring, then cook 2–3 minutes until the sugar is fully dissolved and mixture is slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat; immediately stir in the peanut butter and vanilla (and salt if using) until smooth and glossy.
- Quickly pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Tap the pan once or twice to release bubbles.
- Let cool at room temp, then refrigerate 2–3 hours until set. Lift out and cut into squares.
Tips
- For firmer fudge, simmer the sugar–milk 1–2 minutes longer; for softer, a little shorter.
- Stir in 1/2 cup chopped peanuts or swirl 2–3 Tbsp melted chocolate before setting.
- Store covered in the fridge up to 1 week; freeze up to 2 months.
