My dinner party guests always go nuts over this dish! These Cheesy Baked Beef Patties are juicy, flavorful, and smothered in a creamy cheese sauce that melts perfectly into every bite. Pure comfort food perfection! 😍

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cheddar soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Make Patties: In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. Shape into 6–8 patties.
  3. Sear Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear patties for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned (they’ll finish cooking in the oven).
  4. Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together cream soup and milk until smooth. Pour half of the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Assemble: Place seared patties on top of the sauce. Spoon remaining sauce over them and sprinkle with shredded cheese. 🧀
  6. Bake: Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  7. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed veggies! 🥔🥦
