Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • Red and green sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix sugar cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, heavy cream, and almond extract until fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the batter over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55–60 minutes or until the center is almost set but slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  10. Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Before serving, decorate with red and green sprinkles for a festive look.

Tip: Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps, and chill overnight for the creamiest texture.
