Christmas Sugar Cookie Cheesecake 🎄🍰
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- Red and green sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Mix sugar cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, heavy cream, and almond extract until fully incorporated.
- Pour the batter over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes or until the center is almost set but slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
- Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, decorate with red and green sprinkles for a festive look.
