Yield: 8 sliders  |  Prep: 10 min  |  Cook: 14–18 min

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ct) refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 2 cups cooked shredded roast beef (leftover pot roast or deli roast beef)
  • 8 slices provolone or mozzarella (halved if large)
  • 1/3 cup caramelized or sautéed onions (optional)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for moisture)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley (or dried)
  • Au jus or beef gravy, warmed, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F / 200°C. Line a sheet pan with parchment.
  2. Split each biscuit horizontally to make tops and bottoms (16 rounds). Place 8 bottoms on the pan.
  3. Layer each with a little mayo (optional), a half slice of cheese, about ¼ cup roast beef, onions if using, then another half slice of cheese. Cap with the biscuit tops and lightly press.
  4. Stir melted butter with garlic powder and Parmesan; brush over the tops. Sprinkle with parsley.
  5. Bake until puffed and deep golden with melted cheese, 14–18 minutes.
  6. Rest 5 minutes. Serve warm with au jus or gravy for dipping.
Tip: For extra browning, move pan to the top rack for the last 2 minutes.
