🍍 Longhorn Steakhouse Pineapple Dessert 🍰

“I made this tonight and it is AMAZING! Tastes just like the restaurant. This recipe is from Longhorn Steakhouse. My mom found the recipe in the paper, and now it’s a family favorite!”

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar over the butter layer.
  4. Arrange pineapple slices on top of the sugar mixture.
  5. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using pineapple juice instead of water for extra flavor.
  6. Pour batter over the pineapple layer and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool slightly, then invert onto a serving platter if desired — or serve straight from the pan.
  9. Top with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 🍦
💡 Tip: Add a sprinkle of shredded coconut before baking for a tropical twist!
