Ingredients

For the Fish

  • 4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice and zest of 2 lemons
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Season Fish: Pat dry and season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook fillets 3–4 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Set aside.
  3. Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and add olive oil. Stir in garlic, lemon juice, zest, and parsley. Cook 1–2 minutes.
  4. Serve: Pour sauce over fish and serve hot. Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges.
