- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter + 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp each: onion powder, garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Mashed potatoes for serving
- Parsley or thyme (optional garnish)
