Tender, juicy steaks smothered in a rich, creamy garlic sauce — perfect for a restaurant-quality dinner at home!
Ingredients
- 4 beef steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steaks: Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Sear the Steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steaks 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (or to desired doneness). Remove and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add Liquids: Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Stir in Italian seasoning and let simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Combine: Return steaks to skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or veggies.
