🍞 Rustic No Knead Rosemary Garlic Bread
Golden, crusty, and infused with fresh rosemary and garlic – this no knead bread is a rustic classic you’ll want to bake again and again.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or more to taste)
- 1¾ teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon instant yeast
- 1½ cups warm water
- Olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions
- Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, yeast, garlic, and rosemary. Add warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Let It Rise: Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and let it sit at room temperature for 12–18 hours, until the surface is bubbly.
- Shape: Turn the dough onto a floured surface. Shape it into a ball and place it on parchment paper. Let rise for another 30–40 minutes.
- Preheat: While dough is resting, preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven with the lid inside to heat up for 30 minutes.
- Bake: Carefully transfer dough (with parchment paper) into the hot Dutch oven. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove lid and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool: Let bread cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
