🍰 Caramel Pecan Bundt Cake

Finished with a warm caramel glaze and a sprinkle of extra pecans, it’s the kind of dessert that turns any gathering into a celebration.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

For the Caramel Glaze

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Extra pecans for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter & sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs: Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in sour cream and vanilla.
  5. Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chopped pecans.
  6. Bake: Pour batter into bundt pan. Bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Prepare glaze: In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, cream, and butter. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened. Stir in vanilla.
  8. Finish: Pour warm caramel glaze over cooled cake. Sprinkle with extra pecans.
