Steak Bites with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

🥩 Steak Bites with Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini work great)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Season the Beef:
Toss steak cubes with paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. - Sear the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned (but still juicy inside). Remove and set aside. - Sauté Mushrooms:
In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms. Cook for 4–5 minutes until golden. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. - Make the Sauce:
Pour in heavy cream and beef broth. Stir and let simmer for 3–4 minutes. Mix in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens slightly. - Combine:
Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the creamy mushroom sauce. Cook for 1–2 minutes to heat through. - Serve:
Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread. 😋
