Homemade Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 800g wheat flour
  • 540g water
  • 25g salt
  • 7g dry yeast

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, dry yeast, and salt, ensuring they are well mixed.
  2. Gradually add the water to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. After the dough has risen, gently flatten it and fold it over itself at least three times.
  5. Transfer the dough into a preheated Dutch oven. Cover with the lid and bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (480°F) for 30 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, remove the lid and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes, or until the bread develops a golden-brown crust.
  7. Once baked, carefully remove the bread from the Dutch oven and allow it to cool on a wire rack for at least 1 hour before slicing.
