4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Beef Roast
This incredibly tender beef roast cooks low and slow in a rich onion gravy. With only four ingredients, it’s one of the easiest comfort food dinners you’ll ever make.
Ingredients
- 3–4 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 large onions, sliced
Instructions
- Place sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Set the chuck roast on top.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the roast.
- Pour beef broth around the meat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.
- Shred gently with forks and serve with the rich onion gravy.
