3-Ingredient Onion Beef Roast

Super tender, juicy beef roast with rich onion gravy. Perfect for an easy, comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs beef roast (chuck or brisket)
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 cups sliced onions

Instructions

  1. Place the beef roast in a baking dish or slow cooker.
  2. Spread sliced onions evenly over the meat.
  3. Sprinkle onion soup mix on top.
  4. Cover with foil (or lid if using slow cooker).
  5. Cook in oven at 160°C (325°F) for 3–4 hours
    OR cook in slow cooker on LOW for 8 hours.
  6. Slice or shred the beef and serve with the onion gravy.

Serving Ideas

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or toasted bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
