3-Ingredient Baked Chicken with Onion Gravy
This classic baked chicken dish is pure comfort food. Tender chicken thighs baked in a rich onion gravy using just three simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth (or water)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth around (not directly over) the chicken.
- Cover with foil and bake 35 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Spoon the rich onion gravy over the chicken before serving.
