2-Layer Passion Fruit & Chocolate Dessert

🍫🍋 2-Layer Passion Fruit & Chocolate Dessert

A smooth, creamy passion fruit base topped with a glossy chocolate layer.
Easy to make, refreshing, and absolutely irresistible.

Ingredients

Passion Fruit Layer

  • 2 cups passion fruit juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 packets (14 g) unflavored gelatin
  • ½ cup cold water (for gelatin)

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 7 oz (200 g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat passion fruit juice gently (do not boil).
  3. Stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Add condensed milk and heavy cream, whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into a glass dish and refrigerate 1–2 hours until set.
  6. Heat heavy cream for chocolate layer until hot.
  7. Pour over chopped chocolate and stir until silky.
  8. Let cool slightly, then pour over the set passion fruit layer.
  9. Refrigerate 2–3 hours until fully firm.
Tip: For extra shine, add 1 teaspoon butter to the chocolate ganache.
